2. How do I make a booking for group travel? You should send an email with all details of number of rooms, and duration of stay to reservations@goa-tourism.com . You will get a response within 2 days.
3. How do I know that my booking is confirmed? Whether a booking is made online or over the phone, an email confirming your booking will be sent to you. This email will include your reservation number and other details.
PAYMENT OPTIONS

On receiving your request, the Central Reservation Office will tentatively book the accommodation/service if available and intimate the full amount to be paid for the booking.
You may deposit the amount in cash, or by Demand Draft, or by credit card, in favour of "Goa Tourism Development Corporation Limited" A/c No. 0592090000050 at any HDFC Bank Branch in India or A/c No. 078010200007337 at any Axis Bank Branch in India.
Once you deposit the full amount as indicated above, kindly mention your name, address, name of Residency, type of room and period of booking and fax the pay-in-slip to the above fax number of Goa Tourism Development Corporation Limited Central Reservation Office.
Booking will be considered as confirmed only after a receipt is issued by Goa Tourism Development Corporation Limited on obtaining your faxed pay-in slip with details.
CANCELLATION POLICY
1. What are the cancellation charges for my hotel bookings?
The following are the Cancellation charges levied:
Ø 25% when intimation is received 30 days or more in advance.
Ø 50% when intimation is received more than 3 days (72 hours) or more but less than 30 days in advance.
Ø 100% when intimation is received less than 3 days (72 hours) in advance.
Ø Charges will be debited against one day’s advance.
Ø Cancellation or curtailment of period of stay refund if any will be at the discretion of the Manager of the unit.
Ø Cancellation of group booking will be charged 50% on room rent on its period of stay (5 rooms and above).
Ø Cancellation of any booking will be charged 50% for more than 3 days stay and 100% for less than 3 days for the period of stay during peak season.

2. Is GTDC accommodation safe?
GTDC is a government corporation and it prides itself on not having even one mishap since its inception. GTDC has friendly and courteous staff. Regular visitors will tell you that with GTDC you get value for money apart from a holiday you can treasure forever.
3. Are the cruises safe?
The cruises are extremely safe and the boats are inspected regularly. The boats are insured and always ply as per capacity.
HOUSE BOAT
1. Is the house boat safe?
The house boat has passed stringent tests of the Goa Captain of Ports. The people on board are insured and every care is taken to see that a high level of hygiene is maintained.
2. What activities are there on the house boat?
You can fish with state-of-the-art fishing rods, play board games or swim in the sparkling waters of Morjim River.
3. Is food available on the boat?
Goan food is available on board. You can also get your own food and ask the cook to prepare it as per your taste.

GENERAL INTEREST
1. Which Residency which is suitable for business clients?
Our City Residencies at Mapusa, Panaji, Vasco and Margao are suitable for business clients, located in the heart of the city, with all the amenites and dedicated business centres on the premises with fax, internet and telephone facilities.
2. What percentage is charged for extra pax?
From September 2008-2009, 25 percent of double-room tariff will be charged for every additional bed for 3-bedded, 4-bedded, 5-bedded and 6-bedded rooms. 20 percent room tariff will be added for every additional guest in the double room.
3. Does GTDC offer pick-up and drop for Sundown cruise?
Yes, GTDC provides pick-up and drop for the Sundown Cruise for the guests availing GTDC tours and also for the special groups.
4. What is the cost of Dudhsagar special? Do we have to trek for some time to reach the destination?
From September 2008-2009 we will be charging Rs 700 per head for a non-AC coach. Guests will be dropped at Collem and then transported to the waterfalls by jeeps (the price of which is included in the rate). You will have to walk approximately 200 metres to the foot of the ’falls. GTDC approved guides will be present at the venue. If you love trekking you can do so before boarding the jeeps back to the coach. For safety reasons GTDC does not conduct Dudhsagar specials during the monsoons.
5. Which days of the week are the Backwaters Thrills (Picnic cruises) held?
The Backwaters Thrill (Picnic Cruise) is held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9.30 am.
6. When is the Spice Garden picnic Cruise?
The Spice Garden Picnic Cruise is held only on Sundays. It leaves from the Santa Monica Jetty in Panjim at 10 o’clock in the morning. Special discount is offered for groups, students and senior citizens.
7. What does “MAP package” mean?
This is the Modified American Plan which includes accommodation on twin-sharing basis, breakfast, lunch or dinner, two days sightseeing in North and South Goa and a boat cruise.
8. What dances are performed for regular cruises?
Goan traditional folk dances by trained dancers are performed on the boat and there is DJ music provided for those who would like to dance.
9. What types of Residencies does GTDC have?
GTDC has residencies not only in the major cities and the best beaches, but also in the World Heritage Site of Old Goa and a nature resort in the hills at Farmagudi close to the temple town of Ponda where practically every Hindu in India has a family deity in one of the more than 300 temples found in this beautiful place.
