PACKAGE OVERVIEW

Includes stay per couple at either  Miramar / Colva / Panjim Residency for 4 nights, with breakfast, two full days sightseeing by GTDC coach, Backwater Cruise to Spice Plantation and Boat cruise on M. V. Santa Monica.

ITINERARY

 

Day 1: CHECK IN
Check in at the hotel by 12.00 noon
Have an evening to yourselves, stroll on the beach, sunbathe or just laze around and chill out at the beach shacks.

 

Day 2: NORTH GOA TOUR BY GTDC COACH
Breakfast at Hotel.
Depart for North Goa Tour at 9.30am.
Places covered: Coco beach, Calangute/ Anjuna/ Vagator beach, Mayem Lake, Fort Aguada, Mulgao Temple.
1 Hour River Cruise.
Back to hotel.

 

Day 3: SOUTH GOA TOUR BY GTDC COACH
Breakfast at Hotel.
Depart for South Goa Tour at 9.30am.
Places covered: Includes a visit to Heritage Monuments like Churches at Old Goa which include, Basilica of Bom Jesus wherein lie the mortal remains of St Francis Xavier, on to the magnificent Se Cathedral, which houses the famous Golden Bell. You will be given choice to visit Museum of Christian Art or WAX WORLD MUSEUM near Gandhi Circle, Old Goa, 5 minutes walking distance from the Basilica. Next proceed to the temples of Mangueshi – dedicated to Shiva & Shanta Durga Temple dedicated to the Goddess of Peace. After the temples visit Ancestral Goa at Loutolim which is a “mock village” open air museum depicting traditional Goan village life, through art. After lunch at Colva Beach visit Dona Paula Bay and the lovely Miramar Beach.
Drop Back to Hotel.

 

Day 4: Backwater Thrill (Tue & Friday)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Avail GTDC bus service to be dropped to jetty and depart for Backwater from at 9.30 am except for guests who opt to stay at Colva Residency will have to self arrange their transport to reach the jetty.

Cruise along the riverine tips of the Island of Chorao, Divar & Old Gao. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Mandovi's thick mangroves. Walk among the aromatic plants at Spice Plantation and partake of a typical Goa meal served in earthen pots and on Banana leaf. Cruise returns to jetty by 4.30 p.m.
Drop back to hotel.

 

Day 5: Check out (12.00 noon)
Breakfast at Hotel
Check out by 12.00 noon
Tour Concludes with happy memories.

The Package is not applicable for Peak season.
Entry fees wherever applicable to be borne by guest.
Guests who opt for Colva Residency should make their own transport arrangement to reach Santa Monica Jetty for availing backwater cruise.
1 Hour river cruise can be replaced by dinner cruise by paying difference of Rs300/- per head. (Wed & Saturdays only).
Extra person will be provided with mattress.
